Love, Lust & What I Bought - Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018 Style
I Came, I Saw, I Shopped
The most wonderful sale of the year is upon us and what a sale it is. After all my circles in the catalog and my early morning pre-shop and online order for my must have items I headed to my favourite Nordstrom store list in hand ready to lay my eyes on all things new and fresh for next season ON SALE!
As I entered I caught the sight of all the lovely yellow sectioned off areas containing all things Anniversary Sale - I won't lie my heart skipped a beat and I may or may not have raced towards the upper floor to meet my incredibly well prepared and just as enthusiastic sales associate Valerie. I shopped the floor and gleefully grabbed item after item. Then it was onto the fitting rooms - you know you are in trouble when your sales associate leads you to not one ...but two fitting rooms where all your fabulous finds and thoughtfully curated suggested items await you. After what seemed like a whirlwind of clothing, active wear and lingerie - selections were made it was onto accessories where I was encountered another favourite sales associate Nancy who greeted me with hugs and more thoughtful suggestions. I shopped to my hearts content and left with many bags. So you must be wondering what I bought... so here are all the Nice Things I bought at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

Sweaters, Cami's and Tee's OH MY! So many fabulous fabrics, inspiring colours and stunning styles. The BP. Raw Edge Scoop Neck and V Neck Tee are a must have staple you definitely should be adding to your wishlist and wardrobe. They are soft and look amazing with anything you care to pair them with. They come in multiple colours so I would suggest you get a few - but hurry these little beauties go fast. The TROUVÉ Seamed Drape Sweater is a fresh take on an NSale favourite that I keep coming back for every year. (in every colour) This year it got longer and a little more sideswept but in true TROUVÉ fashion it is a go to piece when you don't know what to wear for that night out and I guarantee you will collect compliments. The BP. Drop Shoulder Ribber Sweater is another great piece for putting on and looking put together with very little effort and with many colour choices what are you waiting for? The price is great! Finally, the BP. Lace Trim Satin Camisole is another winner (do not wait on this one) it is just the right amount of airy and structured and pairs well with jeans or high waisted pants.

It would not be an anniversary sale without adding to my lingerie and active wear. This year i bought my standard Zella leggings that I purchase and repurchase - they are perfect for working out, leisure or travel. They go with me everywhere and I will buy them as long as they make them. This Halogen bralette is a perfect addition to my summer and fall wardrobe for under all my new tees and tops - just enough support and coverage with the cutest strappy detail. Lastly, the PJ Salvage chemise is unbelievably comfortable and the pattern is irresistibly pretty. If you have not tried any pajamas from this line I highly recommend it this is my second item and I have completely fallen in love.

For a petite girl like me it is often challenging to find denim that doesn't require some serious tailoring which often eliminates the style of many pairs. The KUT FROM THE KLOTH and 7 FOR ALL MANKIND jeans are both new brands to my collection. They are the perfect length and hug every curve flawlessly. I also went with a tried and trusted brand favourite PAIGE denim that always feels like a dream and these high waisted wonders are no exception they maintain their shape and won't sag even if you wear them a couple times, which makes them a perfect and good looking travel companion - what more could you ask for?

NSale Scarves are another must have every year. This year I opted for some from my favourite brands in the classic fall patterns of houndstooth, plaid and colorblocking - they are all warm, stunning and perfectly priced. The second I saw the Treasure & Bond Panama Hat I knew I had to have this effortlessly chic piece and added it to my 3 am cart immediately. Oh the jewels, a definite department to not be missed as the deals are outrageous on brands that rarely go on sale. I love the rich colours in the Halogen drop earrings and am still beaming over this Argento Vivo Medallion Necklace which truly sparkles like the north star.

I try and add one bag to my collection every NSale but this year I couldn't resist two.
