Vice Liquid Lipstick comes in a clear tube—so you can see the shade inside – always a plus in my books there is nothing worse than picking out the wrong colour in store due to packing or grabbing the wrong one to put in your purse because you don’t have time to check.
First Impression & Application Reflection
The colour looked beautiful in the package and swatched, the formula seems consistent not patchy and has little to no smell.
I think the suggested application directions given definitely help with ensuring this formula works for you. It suggests that you line lips with the precise applicator; then apply one coat to fill. Do not press lips together. Allow to dry completely.
After testing it out at dinner which included two courses and drinks I did notice that it wore off evenly and did not leave behind any patchiness something I often dread with liquid lipsticks. My lips did not feel moisturized but not overly dry either. Overall I think the formula did wear well. My only complaint would be that it does leave a harsh line where your lips meet so avoid making any kissy faces unless you want to behold the ring.

LOVE IT - I do love the colour and the formula was great for a Liquid Lipstick if you are looking for a new Liquid Lipstick formula I highly recommend you to TRY IT. This comfort matte formula does saturate the lips with colour as promised, was easy to apply and comfortable on the lips - not too drying. I did find it to be long lasting, highly-pigmented and did not transfer.

What’s Nice About It?

The cream is formulated to burst when applied thereby releasing a flood of weightless moisture onto skin for a healthy, smooth, supple appearance.”

This product is dermatologist tested and free of mineral oils, petrolatum, synthetic preservatives, dyes, fragrances, and animal origin ingredients.
First Impression & Application Reflection
It appeared to have a gel like consistency and a vibrant botanical clean smell. It was easy to apply and had a gel like almost watery consistency and a little bit went a long way which is great for a sample size. The smell was a little too intense for me at first – I typically like no scent only because it can be irritating but it dried down quickly. It left my skin feeling smooth but somewhat tacky. I have found this with other gel like moisturizers they tend to look oily as time wears on and I just prefer ones that soak into my skin a little more readily and don’t feel like they are sitting on the surface.
Love It, Leave It, Try It, Buy It
Try it - If you love gel like creams this one is a great option. I liked it and did find it did its job of hydration but overall its just not a favorite enough to win me over to buy a full size. I will likely try other items from the brand but this one just wasn’t for me. If you like a gel like consistency this one is a winner.

First Impression & Application Reflection
Extremely interesting texture, smells exactly how I like it – MINIMAL and the fact that it is non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic, and alcohol-free is amazing. At first I was a little unsure of how to dig into this product – I opted for a little plastic spatula (which worked flawlessly *high five*) The consistency is great – the most similar thing I can compare it to is hardened coconut oil. Upon application onto my skin it became the serum as promised and truly did melt into my skin. It made it feel smooth, supple and hydrated. I absolutely loved it immediately. My face looked even better the next day.

I love everything about this product, the consistency, the smell and the way it made my skin look and feel. This was definite win for me much like everything else I have tried from Algenist just LOVE the brand. Run don’t walk for this one Algenist has done it again and I will definitely be purchasing the full size.

A little upset by the teeny tiny size and the fact that it wasn’t my shade- I was sent #5 when the one I currently use is #3. I love the applicator it is easy to hold and makes application effortless. The microfibers make my brows look and feel natural not overdone, sticky or clumpy.

Love It – Buy It – This is a product that any beauty lover should have in their arsenal – it just works and is worth every penny. I absolutely love this product but I think it is imperative you be color matched if possible. I will definitely be repurchasing in my regular shade.

First Impression & Application Reflection
Another Black Eyeliner – but you can never have enough right? Its average - Color payoff was decent but it did not feel as soft as I am used to. I also found it was difficult to get more product exposed.

Leave It – It is just average and did not wow me. I have others I just prefer others brands more such as NARS or Bobbi Brown.I think there are better liners at a comparable price.

First Impression & Application Reflection
Great Brand, always love a good hydrating shampoo and conditioner combo. Both products felt great during application, smell was pleasant but not overpowering. Hair did feel silky smooth when rinsing out. I did find however that it did feel a little heavy and lifeless afterwards even though it promised to not feel weighed down. It was also not enough product for my long hair which left me wishing they would’ve included enough for a complete use or maybe even a couple uses to better test out the products.

Try It – a great brand and definitely hydrating for your hair. I would definitely try it again but I don’t know if I would purchase a full size without another trial.
Overall
I was excited to see no perfume sample this month as mine typically goes wasted. I did enjoy the hair care sample instead but really wish there was more to use on my long hair – perhaps a bottle instead of a foil packet. I wasn’t thrilled that the Gimme Brow was SO small and I would’ve preferred the 3 shade I typically use. I was impressed with the lipstick as the colour will be beautiful for these next few months. I was thrilled to see TWO skincare products as both were innovative and interesting. The Algenist serum is definitely the star for me this month. Overall, I loved the variety in this months box.
