Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Hu$tla Baby is touted as a “long-wearing, supercharged, peachy-champagne shimmer.” It is a stunningly perfect peachy champagne shade – which is typically my go to tone year round for healthy dose of highlight. This highlight packs just the right amount of punch and looks beautiful when applied sheer or build up to blinding bling status. I personally got mine in the Bomb Baby Mini Lip and Face Set (CAD $28.00 USD $23.00) from Sephora which included the now infamous Gloss Bomb as well. This is the perfect way to introduce yourself to this beauty brand.

I know, I know, why mention something limited edition, but please let me explain. The limited edition Amrezy Highlighter is a light brilliant gold illuminating powder . It goes on buttery smooth and feels just like a second skin and delivers a radiant finish that brilliantly reflects light. Amrezy herself describes it as “sun in a compact” and it truly, TRULY is. It is like having the best lighting team with you at all times. This highlighter is absolutely incredible from an overall glow to your brow highlight and even across your shoulders and décolletage. The way this highlight catches light in undeniably stunning. If you are lucky enough to possess this highlight in your collection I am sure you know what I mean. If you have not I will keep wishing that Anastasia re-releases it or even makes it permanent as it truly is a remarkable product … and I could always use a back up.

BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector® Pressed Highlighter in Champagne Pop

It is not a surprise that this highlighting powder is an award-winner. Champagne Pop has a soft white gold with pinky peach undertones which enhances your natural radiance. It is formula enriches with ultra-fine, multi-toned, luminescent pearls that adjust to your skin’s undertones. It’s formula blends both pigments and liquids which creates its supremely soft look and melts into your skin which makes it still look like your skin but better. Even though its effect is high-impact it does so with elegance and never looks glittery or cakey.

The hype was real about this one. For years I had heard of this mythical highlight and followed newsfeeds about its potential re-release. I jumped online and ordered it the second the holiday collections were available and I was not disappointed. This pale gold shimmer highlight is a liquid-powder highlighter that produces a gorgeous luminosity to the skin that enhances your natural glow with prismatic reflections that sculpt and highlight your face. It’s staying power is unmatched, lasting hours and hours which I definitely would attribute to its creamy powder formula. It’s just beautiful and I layer it on with abandon and that is definitively nothing to whisper of feel guilty about.
