Thankful
For months I have tried to begin and end my day thinking about things I am thankful for. I ground myself with these thoughts in moments of joy, sorrow, peace and stress. I repeat the same core things everyday and always have a few additions here and there.
The more years that pass I am realizing how being thankful really should be a mindful action everyday and not just the times of year holidays implore us to be.
It is sometimes difficult to see the things we are thankful for amidst all the clutter of our busy days. So here is my recommendation ... Find a moment in a favourite place to linger and listen to all your heart and mind has to tell you about what you are truly thankful for… I think you'll find there is more than you realize.
