The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is by far my favourite sale of the year. There is nothing better than getting a head start on next seasons style…on SALE. Not to mention deep discounts on all the designers you love and some items are even exclusive to the sale itself. This sale has something for everyone, the beauty addict, the fashion fanatic and the lover of all things lifestyle.

Having participated in the sale for a few years now I have a few helpful tips:

1. Get a Nordstrom Card – it gets you tons of Insider Benefits

Including early access to things like this sale and Nordstrom Rewards – a points system which translates in Nordstrom Notes - aka more $ to spend on things you love.

2. Mark it on your Calendar and Make an Appointment with a Sales Associate to shop the sale

If you haven’t done this before and you have the ability shop in store this is a must. You can do so by contacting your local store. I highly recommend it as they can be a valuable resource and often have their eyes on items you may not have considered.

3. Shop Early, Shop Often and Check Back
The key to this sale is picking up what you love right away, looking often at what everyone else is stocking up on and checking back if items come back in stock. Things sell out fast in this sale but Nordstrom has got you covered and restocks its popular items, so be sure to check back often to grab those must haves.

From the second the catalogue arrived I dove right in placing circles and asterisks on all my favorite items. The day of the sale I myself was up at 3 in the morning to check out the sale as soon as it came online and placed my orders on the items I knew I could not live without. I also went through the site and made a list of items I wanted to check out in store - complete with item numbers so it would be easy for my favourite sales associate to check while in store for early access.

This sale is an incredible shopping experience and certainly not one to be missed it is on until August 6th.
