The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is almost upon us and its safe to say it is the one shopping experience I look forward to all year long. I love that I get a head start on next seasons style…on SALE. There are not only new fashions but deep discounts on all the designers you love and items that are even exclusive to the sale itself. This sale has something for everyone, the beauty addict, the fashion fanatic and the lover of all things lifestyle. Having become a seasoned shopper when it comes to this sale - check out my tips below to get the most out of the sale.

TIMES TO SHOP

This sale is THE shopping experience and therefore it is not one to be missed. The Early Access sale begins for Nordstrom Cardholders on July 12th. Public Access begins on July 21 through August 5, 2018. Then on August 6th all items go up to regular price.

HOW TO SHOP IT

1. Get a Nordstrom Card – it gets you tons of Insider Benefits

Including early access to things like this sale (Early Access begins July 12th) and Nordstrom Rewards – a points system which translates in Nordstrom Notes - aka more $$$ to spend on things you love.

2. Save the Date & Make an Appointment with a Sales Associate

If you haven’t done this before and you have the ability to shop in store this is a must. You can do so by contacting your nearest and dearest store. I highly recommend it as they can be a valuable resource and have their eyes on items you may not have considered. Val and Nancy are my absolutely amazing sales associates where I shop and their guidance every year is not only useful but they have helped me find pieces that I fell absolutely in love with.

3. Shop Early, Shop Often and Check Back

The key to this sale is picking up what you love right away, looking often at what everyone else is stocking up on and checking back if items come back in stock. Things sell out fast in this sale but Nordstrom also restocks its popular items, so be sure to check back often to get your hands on those must haves. Also, there is a ton more items that are shown online that are not in the catalog so make sure to leave no stone unturned on the website.

NICE THINGS TO BUY

I go through the catalog as soon as it arrives placing circles and asterisks on all my favorite items. The day of the sale I myself wake up early and online order the items I know I can't live without and that may sell out. I then go through the website and make a list for my in store shop complete with item numbers which makes it that much easier for my favourite sales associates.
