WHAT IS IT & WHATS NICE ABOUT IT?
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is almost upon us and its safe to say it is the one shopping experience I look forward to all year long. It‘s a chance to get next seasons style…on SALE. There are not only new fashions but deep discounts on all the designers you love and items that are even exclusive to the sale itself. Having become a seasoned shopper when it comes to this sale - check out my tips below to get the most out of the sale.
WHERE?
Nordstrom Stores and Online at nordstrom.com and nordstrom.ca
I do love that instead of a catalog they have opted for a PREVIEW this year - stating that “We're giving everyone the ability to preview all sale items even earlier—starting July 24. This way, you have plenty of time to save your favorites to your Wish List so you can check out faster when it's time to shop. This preview experience will replace our print catalog this year.” both eco-friendly and allowing for a more seamless shopping experience.
TIMES TO SHOP
This sale is THE shopping experience and therefore it is not one to be missed. The Early Access sale begins for Nordstrom Cardholders starting August 13th ( depending on cardholder status - The higher your status, the earlier you shop. ) This year Public Access begins will be from August 19–30th. All items go up to regular price on August 31st.
You can shop the sale in open stores during normal business hours.
Online shopping begins at 9:30am ET/6:30am PT.
Anniversary Sale is coming to Canada August 19–September 3, and this year you can shop online at nordstrom.ca
HOW TO SHOP IT
1. Get a Nordstrom Card or Become a Nordy Club Member – it gets you tons of Insider Benefits
Including early access to things like this sale and Nordstrom Rewards – a points system which translates in Nordstrom Notes - aka more $$$ to spend on things you love.
2. Shop Early, Shop Often and Check Back
The key to this sale is picking up what you love right away, restocks are hard to come by on popular items so if you love something make sure to get your hands on it. If you don’t love it there is always a great return policy. Leave no stone unturned on the website.
