Nice Brands to Get Behind this Summer ft. Kulani Kinis & Humps Optics

I always love finding new brands, designers and creators that I can be passionate about.

These last few months have given me time to delve deep into insta and I found two brands I have fallen head over heels for.

Kulani Kinis and Humps Optics are game changing brands that are worth a look and your hard earned cash.

Kulani Kinis is a must know brand for any summer loving girl who wants a fantastic looking bikini without breaking the bank.
Kulani is a Hawaiian word which means 'like paradise' and that is exactly what their swimsuits and accessories evoke.
The brand was created by two beach loving, wanderlust spirits named Dani & Alex who are from the East Coast of Australia and state that they share a love of colour, Hawaii and taking charge of their own destiny ( and their brand displays that in spades.)
Most of all I love that they wanted to give access to affordable luxury that wouldn't break the bank and wanted to start a movement. They have something in their collection for every shape, size and style and prints that are absolutely lust-worthy. This is evident by their photos they post of all their sunkissed and salty girls wearing their line from everywhere around the world. Mission accomplished for creating both a movement and a lifelong buyer out of me.

This Aussie brand is one not to miss. The shipping was great and arrived beautifully packaged (something I always appreciate). I could not believe how comfortable the bikini was when I tried it on, the fabric is luxurious and high end and the fit based on their sizing guide is absolutely perfect.

I love my Salty Safari print as it offers the best of both worlds with its wild animal print and feminine florals but I have an eye on Bonnie as well as it totally speaks to my boho retro soul.

This brand kept popping up on my feed with great styles and witty advertising and I just had to know more.

I am absolutely in love with their tagline of “our passion is your adventure”. Their spirit is evident in their branding, their marketing and their quality product.

Based in Santa Monica California this brand was inspired by their love for exploring the world all its wonders and their concept of "polarized sunnies that can handle whatever the real world throws at them, protect your eyes, and not burn a hole in your wallet." They wanted to do better than other brands and offer a better product while focusing on classic design and built to last quality and priced to travel ( three of my favourite things and definitely key concepts here at I Like Nice Things as well ).

Their classic designs are reminiscent of classics and will stand the test of time and look great doing it. The price is reasonable (less than a tank of gas) and they offer so many amazing promotions you’d be hard pressed not to take them up on. Also, the camel logo is not only alluring but has the significance of boldly exploring – only stopping to refuel, recharge and reflect.

They are also truly built to last. The frame is made of high density, mold-injected plastic, which is both strong & light. Hinges that are spring-loaded or 3-5-barrel fish head metal hinges allow for a sturdy design and comfortable fit on any size head (and trust me this is true – I have two men in my life who need the extra room and they fit great - Pilot is their fave frame). The lenses are impact approved - 100% uv 400 rated, and polarized front to back and the dark tint will protect your eyes against anything the sun throws at them.

I love that this company is also socially conscious and also gives back with their buy one give one movement. Which means that for every pair of humps sunnies sold, they donate a pair of reading glasses to someone in need around the world (Read more about it HERE). So just know from Canada to Cali I am sending you my gratitude for creating such a great product and giving back. I will continue to explore the world with humps.

They ship fast and are perfectly packaged. I already own three pairs, have bought them as gifts, will always be adding to my collection not to mention telling everyone I know.

My favourites from the brand are the Pilot, Black Mamba, Sahara and Rio (and i’ve got my eyes on the Ace).
