LOVE OR LUST with LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics
I’ve always been curious about
LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics
especially since every time you pass their store you can’t mistake the delectable scents wafting from within.
So after some urging from a already lush loving co-worker I took the plunge and asked the knowledgeable sales associate what products would work best and after a few fact finding questions I left with a few hearty samples to test in my shower.
Below are the three products I tried; Seanik Shampoo Bar, American Cream Conditioning Bar and Ro’s Argan Gourmet Soap Bar, and my feelings about them. If you’ve ever been curious about LUSH my thoughts are all below.

WHAT IS IT?
Untangle your mane and add oceans or shine with the many minerals in this volumizing shampoo bar. With ingredients from the sea such as: softening Irish moss seaweed and Japanese nori seaweed intended to make hair soft as silk from root to tip while utilizing sea salt to boost body and volume. Lastly, lemon oil adds extra shine.
USAGE
Rub directly onto hair or between hands first to create a lather.
Massage into the hair and scalp

LOVE IT, BUY IT - I wasn’t so sure about this little wonder at first but was intrigued by the smell and its promise to lift my fine flat hair while giving it some extra shine and moisture. It gave off the slightest hint of fragrance and also delivered with making my hair feel clean and volumized. I will be purchasing in the future.

Filled with a sweet blend of vanilla, clary sage and lavender it leaves this sumptuous scent that lingers long after you’ve rinsed. This conditioning cream is filled with moisture to leave your hair soft, smooth shiny.
USAGE
Apply the bar to wet hair after shampooing

LOVE IT - BUY IT - If you are looking for a new way to condition this is it - I found myself reaching for it over and over in the shower and putting my other conditioners on hiatus. I love the smell as it lathered and found myself running my fingers through my hair effortlessly while drying and after. The scent is addictive as it the glossy shine and finish it gives hair.

This beauty caught my eye with its sprinkling of red and yellow roses. It is touted as sweet and skin-softening promising creamy suds and a sweet and fruity Rose Jam perfume that lingers on skin. It also includes antioxidant-rich argan oil, soothing rose oil and hydrating glycerin.

It was nice enough and softened my skin fairly well, but i’m not sure I will go running back to it. I just didn’t feel like it made enough of a difference in my skin to make me a re-purchaser.
FINAL THOUGHTS
All in all I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved these little meltable bars and how much I found myself reaching for them in my routine. I think you need to be mindful of your ingredients and really do your homework when selecting products that are right for you especially if you have specific needs for your hair or are sensitively skinned (that’s why getting a sample is also a good idea before investing.)
However, their range of products really does have something for everyone and I think you’d be hard pressed to find someone that doesn’t find a scent in their wide variety appealing. Their knowledgeable sales staff are worth going in for alone and they really do strive to meet your needs.
I also love that these products are travel friendly.
Overall lush, I guess it’s love and i’ll be coming back for more.
