Truly Canadian Sips & Snacks

Facetune_06-07-2018-16-02-26.JPG

I’ve been keeping my sipping and snacking totally Canadian this week after Canada Day with my Reinhart’s Red Apple Light Cider and Lay’s Canada Honey BBQ Poppables™ complimentary for testing purposes from InfluensterCA.

Lay’s Canada Honey BBQ Poppables™

What’s Nice About It?

These little bite sized popped shaped snacks are truly as they claim "deliciously different" as opposed to your regular chips or sweet and salty mix. They are light and airy but pack a deliciously seasoned combination of sweet and savoury in the Honey BBQ flavour with a satisfying crunch.

Other Niceties

Poppables™ pair well with not only the delectable drink I have included here but with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages alike, and at a price point of $3.29 a bag a few are totally worth adding to your cart for your own indulgence or sharing with company at your latest cookout. Additional Flavours include Sea Salt & White Cheddar - I myself will be headed to my local grocery store to pick up more since I devoured mine.

Reinhart’s Red Apple Light Cider

Straight from the orchards of Stayner, Ontario the talented individuals at Reinhart’s have created the truly delicious Reinhart’s Red Apple Light Cider after being in the apple products business for over 100 years.

What’s Nice About It?

You can taste the crispness of flavours of the Gala, Macintosh, and Cortland apples – locally sourced from Ontario – OF COURSE. It truly feels like you are drinking instead of eating a farm fresh apple. It is pretty much the answer to the best grown up version of apple juice I have ever had with an enjoyable 3.8 % alcohol.

Other Niceties

One Ingredient - I love that they stress their minimal use of ingredients in fact its only “one single ingredient, and nothing else: apple cider” It is rare to find something these days that is completely free of added flavours, no colours, and nothing artificial.
The love for this creation is evident from their website (found here) priding themselves on small batches and careful craftsmanship. So my final thoughts on this pure and natural cider - You had me at Hello Reinhart’s !!! Get to your local LCBO (found here)  and get your hands on it!
