I’m Totally Buggin

If you are anything like me you love the outdoors in these warm summer months but bugs can often grind the summer vibes to a screeching and sometimes painful and itchy halt.

So for survival of the fittest here are my survival guide solutions for around the house, on the go and in the great outdoors.

Around the House

Lemon Mint Spray
½ cup Rubbing Alcohol
¼ cup Fresh Lemon Juice
10 drops Peppermint Oil

· Pour above ingredients into a spray bottle
· Re-spray perimeter every hour

Bugs do not like the intense smell of mint or lemon so it is a natural repellent and barrier.

Helpful Tip: Triple the ingredients for a large spray bottle

Lavender Eucalyptus
5 drops Eucalyptus Oil
5 drops Lavender Oil
6 oz. of Water
Reed Sticks

· Mix all ingredients together and add reed sticks
· Flip reeds every couple of hours to ensure effectiveness

These essential oils are perfect for deterring flying pests.

On The Go

It can be difficult to fend off bugs while out and about. These are easy to take a long with you to the beach, to a patio or anywhere else you find yourself adventuring to this summer.

For the Great Outdoors
